Summary

  • LST editors will work in the LST format using the LST tokens for parsing and validation.
  • The tokens driving the LST editors will be separate from the LST token classes so as to keep the UI code out of the main unit tests. This allows the unit tests to still be run on a system with no screen (aka headless).
  • The current LST token validation will need to be enhanced to provide the position of any flagged error. This will be used by the LST editor
  • We will go ahead with introducing Spring to manage dependency injection and use it for facets and LST editor tokens initially.
  • We need to define a test plan for Jira to allow proper evaluation (on the webteam list)
