JIRA - NEW SOURCE Tracker Process:

Restricted Tracker System - Only Data Monkeys may open a New Source Tracker. This is to prevent trackers for Sources we cannot include.

The Following Template should be followed when opening a New Source

  • SUBJECT: [Publisher Name] Source Book Name
  • Leave Affects Versions and Fix Versions blank

BODY Description Area should have:

  • Source Book Name: [Name of the Book]
  • Publisher: [Publisher Name]
  • Game Mode: [Game Modes / System this is meant to work with - 3e, 3.5e, Pathfinder, etc.]
  • LST Monkey: [Only if you know, otherwise ommit this one]
  • [Book Blurb - Normally taken off the back page, this is the book self advertisement, explaining what the book contains]

Here are the JIRA NEW SOURCE steps and Explanantions:

  • Authorized Monkey Opens New Source which includes the Publisher, Game Mode(s), and the Book Blurb
  • Step 1 is default [No Active Monkey - This set isn't making any progress or the monkey can't work on it anymore]
  • Step 2 Active Monkey [Someone is working on the set]
  • Step 3 License Review [License Monkey reviews and is the only one to clear this step]
    • Step 3b License Issues Require Attention [Only the LST/DATA Monkey can clear this - once fixed returns to License Review]
  • Step 4 Data Review [QA or Data Chimp Reviews Data - Only a QA or Data Chimp can clear this step]
    • Step 4b Data Issues Require Attention [Only the LST/DATA Monkey can clear this - once fixed returns to Data Review]
  • Step 5 Unstable Alpha Release or OOC Release [This is Chosen If this set is not stable or intended only to be an OOC]
  • Step 6 Stable Alpha Release [This is Chosen IF the set is stable for Alpha inclusion - Set is placed in Alpha Folder]
  • Step 7 Full Release Review [QA or Data Chimp Reviews Set for Full Inclusion]
  • Step 8 Full Release [Congrats we've got the set in the release under d20ogl]

I do plan on changing that in the near future, but that is the current steps [I plan on a step to send to DOCs for inclusion - Make it easier to keep Documentation up to speed]
